With the scourge event ending early, I think it’s time we as a community come together and call for another toxic game event to be ended early — Joyous Journeys.
It’s clearly had a negative impact on gameplay, as we’ve all seen: players leveling too fast to take in the story of an area before the quests are gray, leveling too fast to be able to do the dungeons before causing teammate XP to drop to zero, and much more.
I hope that with your help, we can nag and pester Blizzard enough to get this disruptive event taken down immediately, so we can get back to AFKin— I mean, uh, playing the game appropriately.

I don’t know about you, but I feel good and GRIEFED when a player who got xp too fast joins my Deadmines run and drops my xp/hr to two digits.
Makes the game LITERALLY unplayable.

We should delete Classic and make everyone play a permanent BFA server where the only currency you can get is through WoW token.

I’m not. I get kicked from groups cause my level is too high from doing half an area’s quests.

Yes. People and to be fully inclusive: non-human associated others, are left feeling unsafe because of those that are electing to not turn off “joyous” journeys. These people and non-people alike that are joyously journeying are creating this unsafe environment with their high level privilege and it should be put to a stop. They’re lording their high levels all over everyone and it’s dangerous.

I really wish Blizzard would stop trolling us with these griefer fiesta events. Bad troll is bad.
Frankly I hope Blizzard does not try to troll us with a fun event again. Every time they try to bring us a fun event we piss our pants and get mad about it, and my detergent bills are through the roof!
No. It’s literally unplayable. There’s nothing I could POSSIBLY do to mitigate the effects of this event on my gameplay.

Scourge event has not ended.
Zombie event still going, but they can’t infect you anymore as the cure was found. (Even though the quest for the cure was never turned on.)
