New to professions, I need to make a Runed Copper Rod to enchant some gloves, I have one each of the copper rod, strange dust and lesser magic essence, I have the enchanting window open, how do I make the Rod?
Go to ‘Rods’ in the left side of the popped up Enchanting window.
Click on ‘Runed Copper Rod’ just below it.
Click the ‘create’ button at the bottom of the right side of the popped up Enchanting window.

I got the quest " Work Order: Enchant Weapon - Machinist’s Brilliance" should I buy a weapon to enchant it or keep doing world quests until I get one?
Buy blank enchanting scrolls, cast spell onto the scrolls.

You can use Vellum to enchant instead of a weapon, use for quest, or you can then put in your bank for later or sell on the AH.
Quests like that require you to put the enchant on Enchanting Vellum. You can find them at pretty much any of the trade goods vendors.
I see, the enchanting scrolls are from the auction house?
Enchanting supplies vendor, probably. Or from someone with the inscription profession. It’s been awhile since I did professions (WoD).
