You are unable to enchant through the trade menu with other characters, as well as unable to enchant vellums across ALL servers. After the pre-patch, this issue arose, and now people are gouging prices on AH before the expansion drops. Enchanting is broken at this time, you can enchant the everyday items in your own bags (minus vellums) but can not do anything else.

any idea of when this issue will be fixed? there have been multiple hotfixes for other stuff but not this? I am unable to put enchants on vellums for my alts and I refuse to pay the ridiculous prices being charged as a result of this bug

this is annoying more then anything. got my alts items levels up thnx to the 278s and 252s but I can’t give them enchants. As an enchanter this is hurting my gold-flow because i can’t make the enchants to sell

4th day of the prepatch event with many alts gearing up and prices on the AH have gotten criminal because the patch broke enchanting. In desperation, I event tried using dark parchment. I then deleted all my current vellum stock and bought new, trying to see if there was a objectID change. Nope. Nothing worked. And no word from the devs even to acknowledge this bug, much less a projection for when it will be fixed.

Except for low level enchants. From what I remember, all enchants prior to Legion work, but nothing afterwards.
I’m hoping this gets fixed soon.
Currently I can only enchant Shadowlands and Zandalari on the vellum provided all other enchantments I get “Target is too low”. They broke it somewhere…
I’m trying to learn Legion enchanting recipes, but the very first quest asks that you put an enchantment on vellum. So I can’t learn any of the recipes. When will this be fixed?

According to November 23 patch notes:
Fixed an issue where Shadowlands enchants could not be applied to Enchanting vellums.
Developers’ note: This fix will temporarily prevent enchants that were available prior to Shadowlands from being applied to Enchanting vellums. This new issue will be fixed shortly after the release of Dragonflight.
