Has anyone noticed the combines for the enchanting rods do not require the previous tier rod and they do not “serve as any lesser enchanting rod”? Did this not exist in classic? I’m pretty sure it did and the old db sites seem to indicate it did. Sorry if this has been posted before but I could not find it through search or in any bug lists/reports.
1.12 was the pre patch to TBC right? Didn’t that get changed prior to the TBC launch?
I remember it still being a thing IN TBC. Had to work your way up the rods… that didn’t sound right… or did it…

2.0.1 was the TBC prepatch.
I got a Ron Jeremy Rod … it’s quite enchanting to say the least.

This always existed until all the rods above Copper where removed from the game.
