Enchanting rod destroying enchanting

There are too many umbra shards, soon to be completely devalued.

This is what happens when you make an item that alts can make that give more mats:

Existing enchants get devalued. Over this week, enchants on thrall have dropped by 50% or more, and the trend is going down, especially with no one needing enchants.

They should have made new ones, or cosmetic ones, or pets. This is pretty sad, and I hope it gets fixed before the profession literally disenchants itself.

Cheaper enchants? I’m all for this.

I would also like to see professions not suck anymore. I want gem slots back. I want enchants on all sorts of pieces of gear. I want more glyphs. All that jazz.

I dont even have the quest tool yet but I am receiving 2 crystals most of the time now when I disenchant purples so they’ve definitely tweaked some things outside of that tool.

i’m for it too, that should be the general trend. it should not be cheapened when people already don’t need an enchant…

The extra mats they are giving is causing a crash for what you already have (having 20 ring enchants in your bag lose 20k in value bc of a patch in a couple days.)

There should have been a new type of utility enchant that uses the extra mats, or an expensive pet or something.

This isn’t making cheap enchants, this is making worthless enchants, which is the prob they had with certain mats like leatherworking which is why leatherworking is dead.

There is literally nothing to use umbra shards on now, which is why their trend has halved from 100g to 50g or less, because the limiting reagent is now veiled crystals.

Our cheaper enchants already only sell for 4 gold for 27 stat.

This! I really miss being able to really enchant my gear. It showed that you put in an effort. Not to mention, profession that were harder to level had better bonuses, and it was just worth it.

Now those professions are still annoying to level, but it’s not really worth the effort incredibly annoying, and professions just feel kind of dead.
