Hello friends,
I have never taken enchanting before. I’m curious what the best route for levelling enchanting is. I have looked at a couple guides and understand what enchantments are the most efficient for levelling.
What I’m struggling with is how to go about the enchanting. Lately i’ve just been in /1 of whatever area I am in offering free enchants. I love helping the community, but lord knows I need to be making as much G as possible to fund a mount.
Should I be enchanting trash and vendoring it? Charging people the vendor price for my various dust? I’m not sure how to monetize this whole process.
Any insight from more experienced players is appreciated!
Disenchant for + skill.
Make wands from wood/essence then vendor it. You can actually buy magic essence CHEAPER than making wand and vendor…or you can try sell the wand.
Don’t burn through enchanting mats by repeating same enchant on item. That’s a waste other than if its at very low level (strange dust is cheapo).

Your enchants will start becoming valuable once you get to the mid-levels. Weapon enchants are super nice - stamina enchants on armor too.
Your real moneymaker is selling DEed stuff. And then selling Fiery/Unholy/Lifesteal/Crusader/spell damage/agility/etc at 60 to make coin for the epic mount.

Enchanting is a money sink early on until you get a world drop recipe. Either take it as a loss, offer free enchants like you are doing in the leveling zones like cross roads, by cheap items off of the AH like “of the bear / eagle” popular ones and enchant them and put them back up to sell. Other than that, there’s not much you can do.

Disenchant stuff until 70/300. Dont do a single enchant until you have gotten all the skillups you can from disenchanting junk. This is probably the single biggest cost-reducing thing to do when leveling enchanting.

Also I assume you have tailoring to go with the enchanting?
Tailor the hell out of greens and DE them to fuel your mats.
