Does anyone happen to know if these can drop off of mobs that don’t drop loot normally such as in m+?
Wanting to know if speccing this would be a good way for passive income.

Honestly I abandoned Enchanting because I went all-in on this and found the drop rate was still garbage, and my disenchants very rarely yielded anything extra or special (or if they were, it was so little I didn’t notice). I urge you not to go down this line. Mats off the AH should be dirt cheap.
I cannot answer your question about M+, but so far I agree with Exavier regarding the Insight of the Blue specialization.
I have 35 points in Insight of the Blue, and the drop rate on the mystic items is quite low. All but one of them have yielded dust or shards. One single purple did yield four resonant crystals, but I have not seen another since then. I can’t see any reason to spend 15 more points for me to max out this node.
Forty points into Draconic Disenchantment has also felt like misspent knowledge. I’m finally starting to get some additional reagents, but I wish I’d spent them elsewhere. Seeing blue equipment still sometimes yield just dust is discouraging.
Yep. After the 10th or so purple I DE’d and didn’t get a single purple mat it really sunk in for me that this expac is going to cost a fortune in gold to be in any way time efficient.
