Enchanting in 10.1 drop rates on recipes are awful

According to wowhead these are sub 1% drop rates to get the new enchanting recipes to make shadowflame crests.

Why can’t these be sold on a vendor? They want people to endlessly farm the same mobs for a ~1% chance at getting the drop.

I have enchanting and alchemy. I tried the new zone after about 2 hours of trying to farm these I was like yea its not worth it. Now if I want to upgrade crafted gear I am going to have to pay some guy like 50k to do a crafting order just to get the item to upgrade and pay another guy 50k to craft the item.

A similar thing happened to me last patch i never got the ultimate potion recipe in the raid and I ran heroic like 16 times, i never seen it drop and if it dropped I would of still had to of won the roll vs a lot of people.

The drop rates way higher than 1% cuz they only drop for enchanters, so wowhead counts everyone’s drops including the many many more not eligible to get it

Just fly around for an hour looting treasure, I got all 3 day one before finishing the story quests

Because you got lucky doesn’t mean everyone is going to have your luck. I played like for a day and got none of them for my enchanting. Its awful RNG which is why its bad.

I can confirm it’s not 1%. I’ve had 3 of them drop so far, but I do agree things like this should be on a vendor.
