Enchanting crafting orders?

When I go to check enchanting crafting orders, all I see are rods and wands, and illusory goods.

Does anyone know why the cloak/bracers/chest/etc. enchants are not coming up under fillable crafting orders?

im looking at it from the enchanters lectern

Seems to be intended since we still have vellums to post on auction house.

I was hoping you could do work orders for enchants but I guess that’s not a thing.

They’re already not BoP or scalable, no reason to have them as orders.

i dont know why they would do that though because the illusions can be put on velum. i dont get it  thanks for the response though i’ll probably just do it the old school way

Yeah but with work orders, the crafter can use the materials from the person ordering. If Enchanting doesn’t have work orders for their Enchants, we have to make the enchants to sell on the AH.

I guess they did that as a way to not make you waste your weekly limit? But I see the value in expanding the system to allow things like that without having to spam trade chat.

if i recall correctly, the purpose of work orders is for players who have gathering professions to have items crafted using the mats they gathered, especially the BOP ones, without having to spam chat or find someone to craft the items manually. its not meant to be a replacement for the AH.

since enchanting is the only profession thats both crafting and “gathering”, it doesnt require this method of linking up gatherers from crafters because whoever has enchanting mats are enchanters themselves. and also since all enchanting scrolls are not soulbound, you can just buy the enchants off AH

It would be super-cool if someone at WoW could weigh in instead of us guessing what they are thinking, which is mysterious at best. According to the NPC Azley, EVERY crafting item can be ordered, but there are no Writs or Devotions even listed. Issue being how I am supposed to level up enchanting if I can’t use crafting orders … ?

When I want an enchant I go buy it off the AH. I get it instantly that way and don’t have to guess the market price. Why would I put in a work order where I either have to go to the AH and buy the mats, or try and guess as to what is a fair price to tip for the enchanter using their own mats?

The only way I’d ever put in a crafting order for a basic enchant would be if Blizzard made them BoP or got rid of vellums.

I found it out the hard way to. Theres really nothing in the order system for enchanters except Enchanted crests.

We do not even get a weekly work order quest, same goes for Alch. Two of the worst professions to get knowledge points for. The best you can do is get credit for 1st crafts.

Engineering, enchanting, and Alc got shafted in the new professions revamp.

Fair enough, but my warband alts could put in personal orders to my enchanter to help level him up and get the benefits of the weekly from Kala. Same with alchemy and engineering.
