Enchanting 8.2

Hi. Prior to 8.2, I had reached enchanting level 150 and all my spells were grayed out.

With 8.2: I “learned” new spells from Instructor Okanu in Mezzamere (which got me to enchanting level 152), and this rendered the Ring “Accord” enchantments (and only those) orange. So far so good.

Here’s where I get stuck: there have been 2 work order quests (both from Speaker Utia) for enchanting weapons: one for “Force Multiplier,” the other for “Naga Hide.” The thing is, I don’t see those enchants anywhere, even in the grayed-out spells.

Do I have to collect new materials, like Naga hide? How do I do these quests?

Check back with the enchanting trainer. It is possible that you need higher levels of skill (i.e. 155 or 160) in order to learn the first rank of the weapon enchants.

In the meantime though, you should be able to purchase the enchants off of the AH in order to turn in the WQs for the higher ranks. You just won’t be able to learn those higher ranks yet.

Too bad the unlearned tab doesn’t show you new ranks you have yet to learn, only new recipes you haven’t learned yet.
