Do the Enchanted Thorium Breastplate and Leggings plans still drop for Blacksmiths? I’m finding conflicting information about this and don’t want to waste my time trying to farm them if they don’t. Thank you.
Assuming you’re talking about retail, these plans became unavailable when Cataclysm removed the Shen’dralar faction grind and the Tome-based blacksmithing quests.
Still available in Classic, but that won’t help if you want the plans for retail.

You can get lookalikes to the Leggings in game, but not the Breastplate. There are some gloves that only drop from the Anniversary dragons that match the set, as well as Grim Sabatons for the feet.
Blizzard has added back some old recipes, but not Enchanted Thorium, so it was good to ask.
TY. That sucks though. Nothing like wanting a pattern and oh look blizz removed it cause “reasons”. Ugh.

I spend a lot of time hoping for a different recipe that blizzard wouldn’t confirm or deny while I was farming glorious legplates–one of the runic plate recipes. Eventually, it got added back in at a vendor in Un’goro. It was frustrating when blizz wouldn’t just say they had taken out recipes or rare specific drops in cata.
I think i have the plans or learned skill on alt i been hording alot of stuff on alts for over 13yrs jajaja
My blacksmith can craft the legs and armor on Aerie Peak if you need.

I don’t have a toon on Aerie Peak so I’d have no way to pay you for them or be able to equip them with a level 1 to unlock the transmog. But I do appreciate the offer.

On the top menu bars, click on “recipes”, this will bring up a searchable section below that displays all items I know how to make. Just ensure that “collected” as well as “collected on alt” are both ticked.
It’s not just old smithing items I have either, there’s all sorts of lost treasures in there if you know what to look for.
To gain access to this, all you need to do is create a trial character of the right type (plate-wearer for blacksmithing armour, leather-wearer for leather, etc) on my server (connected realms Dath’remar or Khaz’goroth under Oceanic tab) and get in contact with me. Payment would be finding something from ~https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/character/us/dathremar/dakyras/collections/pets?uncollected~ in your preferred price range. You get a pet and add it to your collection on your server and then cage it on mine to trade for the crafted stuff.
