Alliance and horde always working together in lore anyways.
Let members group up for pve content and arena.
Battlegrounds can stay how they are obviously cuz they still are points of conflict.
There is no reason to split your playerbase in half in 2021. Game has moved on.
Let the people play the game.

I spent so many years fighting alliance and so much time hating them when they gank me in warmode that I can’t see myself happily playing with someone I know is on alliance.

When i first saw the title i thought it said “Enable Gross Faction Grouping”. lol
On topic though i would like to see cross faction grouping but they would need to give all of us a common language to understand each other first because not everyone uses voice chat or discord.
Breh they won’t even let low levels form premades, what makes you think they gonna let cross faction groups lol
Lol, and BGs are the one place you CAN actually do cross faction play.
I think it should be completely up to the player. Don’t let it happen in auto queue stuff. That way, you decide who you want to group with.

I’m down. Would probably help the population balance as well, as people could roll what they want and still be with friends horde side. Don’t have to let us walk in the opposite factions cities or anything. But if a group of players want to guild up, let them.

I think even ion himself was quoted as saying that cross-faction grouping was “extremely unlikely”.
If you scroll down in the interview he cites the reason being that raiding and similar premade PvE content requires more long-term social connections that are “incompatible” with the faction divide.
Getting upset over cartoon characters next to your cartoon character sounds like a you problem and a bad one.
