Just started playing balance Druid and got a 226 Empyreal Ordinance from my vault. Is this trinket any good?

It’s ok for M+ but it’s really clunky to use.
Am I trying to get the intellect before using celestial alignment + convoke?
Yes typically you’ll use ordinance, wait for it to come back and give you the int, wait a bit longer until your second on-use trinket is off cooldown(has a 20s cooldown from when you use ordinance) then CA+convoke
I reckon double-on-use just feels gross for boomy’s. Our big burst CD is already so long (3mins). Anything that wastes 20 seconds before using it is just disgusting.
But, yes, unfortunately it’s normally a slight gain in raids. But it’s terrible in keys, pretty much unuseable on trash, and boss fights are half over after 20 seconds if the group prides and lusts. Until you’re in high tyrranical keys anyway.
Personally, I have a 278 (season 3) Emp Ord and I won’t double on use with this.
I will keep Emp Ord until I get a 272-278 IQD and then use a second passive trinket.
Just shoot your Emp Ord load so the intellect lines up with your CA and enjoy.
In the year that passed since your reply, they’ve nerfed EO such that it puts other on-use trinkets on a 40s cd instead of 20.
