Anyone else find that the zones are oddly empty of other players? When I got off the boat there was a fair number of other players on my layer. But now I see an average of only 5 other players in the zone per hour. Seems like the layering has gotten a little too aggressive. I play this game for the multiplayer experience, and I find this disappointing.
90% of the players cant login or play…
My friends and I have completely given up trying to play. Still waiting on the boat or disconnecting. Haven’t done even 1 Quest. This is the worst launch ever and Blizz should be ashamed.
Never have I seen so many players give up on launch day. It’s that bad. Was watching Shroud’s stream for a lil and his friends gave up called it quits too. It’s just not worth it and is a really really bad look for DF.
by far not the worst, WOD was and this shows you did not play it
Lol you’re joking right? We can’t log in!! Of course the zones are empty!
WoD actually is one of my favorite expansions. The last one I pre-ordered. I was actually super excited for WoD and even had a Youtube channel for it since I mained Glad Stance.
Perhaps my excitement for WoD outweighed the poor launch. Where the last 2 expansions have been dumpsterfires and DF is pretty lack luster so the excitement is gone. So nothing is really countering this horrific launch.
Oh… well that would explain it.
Such little competition for mobs
It’s great
I did, and after the initial bottleneck which, for me was less than an hour on my server, and never had ANY issue logging in… So this one is worse.
This person was actually here for WOD. There was an initial bottleneck for sure, but it cleared up in under 2 hours most servers. Five hours later we cannot log on to Area-52 at all with DF release. This is a joke.
It’s a combination of no one can log in AND Blizz oversharding the zone’s in an effort to reduce lag/so people can quest quicker.
WOD had ppl stuck in login screens for days and even gave free game time up to a week it was so bad. You all have no idea what you are talking about
Sharding. You can comfortably quest without having to fight 30 people for tags.
