Empty supply crates no longer able to turn in for faction? This a bug or intended?

With a new ability to hold 12 of them, you can no longer turn in empty boxes. Working as intended. They put out a blue post saying they forgot to change the text saying you can turn them in empty and that it will be hot fixed soon.

The Tier one crates only give rep up to friendly, Tier 2 only give rep to Honored, this has always been the case.

i would also like to know. Because if they have to be filled. just getting the right trade is a pain to fill one. if this change as intended. be ready for a angry community.

Also, their drop rate has been reduced? I was farming for an hr and opened 12 chests got 0. THen killed a mob and got 1. Got 1 per 1hr of farm and 2 hours of play.

Hmm mine is empty and cannot be turned in. Guess they need to hotfix the ability to turn in empty ones too, not just the text.

This was the point of the crates. It’s an attempt to make these profession items have value. No need to be angry just go to the AH and purchase the items you need.

Just spent 2 hours farming heavy leather off level 27-28 cats, 0 crates.

Sadly, was leveling a toon on another server where I don’t have the funds to buy this crap. Such a bullcrap change before season 2 goes live. No reason to do this faction on alts 6, 7, and 8 and certainly not on a new server. So dumb. Probably going to see more rewards that are money sinked behind this tradeskills grind.

Damn man i did honored on my 4 characters and I filled every single one of them, didn’t even know you could hand them in empty

Yeah, you got more for turning them in full but once they moved the runes to friendly by the time you hit 20 had enough empty turn ins to hit that.

I wonder if they nerfed the drop rates if you are level 25 and honored already. Can anyone confirm if they have now gotten any after being level 25 and honored?

Took me 3 hours of farming to get my 1st box.
