Freshly installed companion app on Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. Log in, correct region, it quickly skips past realm selection and doesn’t let you pick a realm and then ends up on an empty character selection screen so you can’t select any characters.
Force stopping the app or re-logging in results in the exact same empty screen.
edit: 12/8/2020 - new version of the app today did not fix this problem

This doesn’t seem to be something we can fix on our end.
I tried installing the app on my phone as well and the exact same thing happens. Log in, asks me to select account (also shows a trial account but I select the correct one that has my characters), it skips realm select and goes to an empty character selection screen when on the correct region. I have 5 characters that have SL mission tables, I have to log into them from the actual game client to use their tables.
It has never worked at any point in shadowlands. I see some bad reviews on the app store from people who have the same issue. Some have replies from you, telling people to make sure they selected the correct region, which to me suggests you are currently oblivious to the fact that there is another major problem with your app. It isn’t simply user error. Your app is broken.
Since it apparently doesn’t affect everyone, perhaps the app runs into some specific issue with specific accounts. Maybe accounts with large numbers of characters?
I was hoping the app had improved since Legion when it was slow to swap characters to the point that it was faster to still just log into the game from the game client and do it that way. I was hoping after several years you’d have the app in a decent condition so you could quickly manage multiple characters tables from the app. Instead, it seems to have gotten worse to the point that it doesn’t even function at all. Maybe devote more resources to fixing and improving it?
The app currently has a 2.8 star overall review on the app store and those people are frankly being overly generous.
