For everyone who wanted to keep the Galeburst impact on the rotation how do you feel about this change to Xuen? Not confirmed yet if its a legendary or some other effect.
Would make a HUGE impact on taking GCDs away from opener as well.
Thoughts?

I like the idea of getting xuen baseline. Granted I rather invoking him meaning he flows us with his power, instead of a little summon, but this seems pretty cool.
I just hope it doesn’t become what we are tuned around.

Depends on how the ability works. If you do 5000 damage and have 3000 attack power then Tigers Lightning do;

% of my AP per target and then the bonus damage pool split for a value like

Single Target:
- Target A takes 690 damage (+500)
-
Cleave
- Target A takes 690 damage (+166)
- Target B takes 690 damage (+166)
- Target C takes 690 damage (+166)
or
- 500 additional damage per target in a similar way that Open Palm Strikes works we could end up with something like that looked like this
- Target A takes 1190 damage
- Target B takes 1190 damage
- Target C takes 1190 damage
The difference between the two is not huge on single target and you have to remember Xuen was a pretty big chunk of our single target burst to begin with. The difference in cleave damage is what I’m interested in. I’d love to see more of that in the spec.
At a glance we’re also extending our damage out past the opener, halfway into SEF, or after Serenity has ended.
I could see some tuning done but this is a pretty smooth damage pattern.
Kind of throws me back to when we got that hotfix that turned OPS into a powerhouse with the way the damage bonus was distributed. Second option also subjects Xuen to the Windwalking Aura much easier.
The only difference is how the bonus pool gets distributed. Either this is its own damage source and it’s tacked on at the end or it becomes part of Xuens scaling. I doubt we’ll see any type of double dipping ok vers but if we consider that this could be baseline it would be a pretty big step towards smoothing out some of the rougher edges Xuen as a cooldown like # of GCDs in the opener, Mastery value, scaling into the expansion, how it feels to have Xuen as a CD, and the loss of Galeburst.
Servers are still down so all I can do is speculate but if it does end up as a legendary I honestly wouldn’t too surprised.
Windwalker just always feels so barebones. It would be unfortunate if the spec was gated behind soulbinds and legendaries.
Feel free to fact check me on anything. I threw this together in the parking lot. 
I will say if this becomes another anima power I might just give up on waiting for windwalker to be fun.

Doesn’t seem like it would be an anima power for the tower, since a lot of those seems to be like uber strong.
However I can easily see it being a lego.

Considering they just nerfed the duration of Xuen in the same patch I really doubt this is an anima power.

They nerfed it from 25 seconds to 24 seconds to coincide with the Rank 2 spell. Given it is 24 seconds, we will have 3 empowered bursts. 8, 16, and 24 when he is despawning.

I know I am not complaining. That change makes it extremely unlikely this is an anima power.
Rank 2 means it’ll likely be a baseline addition.
Every 8 seconds is interesting though.
It definitely makes Xuen more attractive on 3 - 5 targets if you can feed with SCK and WDP.
We’ll see some interaction with covenants here on things like a shorter RSK cooldown, bonedust triggers, and faeline resources.
I think it adds a lot of cohesiveness and it’ll likely be a good change if it happens to be a baseline rank learned sometime between 50 - 60, even if it seems like it brings a lot of the specs focus towards Xuen.

It seems it is. However at least they made it good for single and multi it seems.
I am just really hoping they don’t tune us around just that, my main fear now is this is going to suck for pvp, trying to get full benefit from that.
They can either cc us or the kitty and it just brings my problem that I had with legion SeF to another of our things.

Rooting is always going to suck. Do you have the spell ID for his Tiger Leap by any chance? We lost our pet bar and I know he still casts it. I wonder if we can take it off auto cast.
I think it’s 135853. I know the macro /cast tiger leap still works or did as of 8.2.

I think i’d rather blizzard have just made Fury of Xuen a talent, and just made Pressure Points baseline.

No, because it’s basically and not verbatim. And we lose ToD burst for a (from what I’ve read) diluted Xuen version of it.
If it had the CD reset tag to it, I’d be satisfied.
3 10% bursts is diluted? Sure thing.
It’s almost like we still dont no soulbonds or the lego effects yet.
However we still have any numbers tuning and legion version of ToD hurt our pvp more than anything else.
From what i understand, it’s like 3 gale bursts for 1/3 of the power through Xuen’s duration, but potentially AoE. Perhaps diluted was a poor choice of word, but this feels like a Diet Coke or Coke Zero to the Classic Coke that is/was ToD as we know it.
I’d rather not need an item to have 10% of everything i want dead to be written off before i see them.
I’d say losing a lot of CC/kit did more damage than that.
