So you know how we see some NPCs doing certain animations for stuff like working on something, crafting, leaning against a wall, etc. Are any of these emotes we the players can use?

Sadly no, but if you want to use some of them in still images for something like a video or a character mug shot the add-on Narcissist allows you to access those animations I. It’s screenshot function. Remember though that many of the animations do not transfer to all races. They never programmed tauren to lean on the bar like the humans can as an example.

I looked up the mod and tried it out, it is pretty cool, but I am confused. How do I take screenshots with that? Like the way it seems to work is it creates a separate model to play animations and such, but I don’t know how to take a picture of that model in the world…

Unfortunately it’s not that advanced of a mod. you would have to take the picture with a solid background like a green screen and blue screen or black screen and then edited into an environment via something like Krita which is a free version Photoshop. You can also just do a simple shot and do overlay edits in any free online program.

That’s one feature I really liked in EOS, fun idle animations and other unique emotes. Which of course, yes, yes I always had my character dance around drunk while I waited for one of those Daedra invasion things to spawn.

Sadly they can’t be used by players, and most of them are tied to that race you see them on, so you can’t even preview them on another race in the model viewer.
