I completed the 4th mythic dungeon just 15 minutes ago and the quest log updated to say I could hand it in. I ported to oribos to hand it in and the quest disappeared from my log. I went to the quest giver as well near the vault and no question mark appeared and I even tried to interact with them to see if appeared.

The Emissary event ended an hour or some time from now. When the event is over the quest is abandoned automatically. Blizz expects people to turn it in before then so… yea. Live and learn niche things. It happened to me too tbh.

Why does it end a few hours before reset, unlike almost everything else daily or weekly in this game? My Oceanic server in-game calendar doesn’t even tell me the right time, but I’m supposed to somehow know that the event ends this way?
If this were much clearer I’m sure a lot of us would be much less upset.

The emissary quest has ALWAYS ended when the server reset, not arbitrarily several hours beforehand. Many times during BfA I completed, and turned in the quest not 10-15 minutes before servers reset for the week. This is clearly a bug.

That is incorrect it ends at reset. It has ALWAYS been that way. Learn what is actually going on instead of spouting incorrectness
