People and Blizzard seem to have forgotten just how good a year 2011 was for RPG video games, LFR was knee jerk reaction to the loss of subs. People didnt stop playing video games they just stopped playing WoW for awhile due to the plethora of games that were released that year.

Horde has gotten 3 weapon caches since patch drop.
If your IL is not 400+ you are simply not logging on. You get IL 400+ by simply doing nazjatar and mechagon every day for 30 minutes.

I couldnāt get a weapon to drop in any dungeon or raid I didā¦ so I did the 7th Legion Emissary and got a 420 staff. Itās much more rewarding and less stressful to just solo this stuff than spend 2 hours clearing a dungeon. You also get way better loot by not doing the content, lmao.
I am fine with it as it stands now with M + existing. The gearing progression is already destroyed, it really matters not anymore. That said, I would be far more than happy to go back to how things were in MoP for gearing.

Says a twink that will probably be begging guildies to carry them through classic dungeons to get the best twink gear. Not to mention the twink items rewarded from quests.
And LFR should? Why its story mode according to everyone who advocates for it. world quests are controlled progression over the entire patch, LFR you can get lucky and be done gearing in 2 weeks if your just a casual
Yeah, it is. Itās trivial but still not as trivial as doing a few world quests.

There is no done gearing anymore, not even for ācasualsā. If weāre going to call it a deal on hitting a certain ilvl then youāre where you belong now too - 430 with only a couple bosses down on heroic and a few 9 keys done.
umm you can literally afk in LFR and get gear afk on a world quest you will not be able to complete the quest. whats your definition of trivial
no thats what we call progression for casuals throughout a patch so they dont reach a gear plateau
there are people who dont raid at all past lfr, they still need a progression otherwise they get bored and stop playing im not a casual by any means im just not hardcore mythic raiding pushing 15+ keys i get a weekly done for my chest and call it
LFR, world quests, war fronts, and normal/heroic/mythic dungeons.

LFR and warfronts you can AFK and get gear. Dungeons and world quests you have to at least press you buttons and click on things.
