I have recently noticed that a lot of the emissaries that have been popping up are almost all for AP or azurite gear. In the passed almost two weeks there has only been one gold or resource reward instead. We have not seen a weapon cashe or trink/ring box in I don’t know how long. I know it is something that is supposed to be random, but at this point I think something is going wrong on blizz’s end. It shouldn’t take this long to have the emissary get switched up with a new reward and it’s a bummer logging in after reset to see the same reward every other day.
Am I the only one that has noticed this repetition, and does anyone else feel the same way?

The tortollan/honorbound/voldunai emissaries pretty good, they’re good source of things to scrap for expulsom.

I agree they are redundant but I just got about 12k in gold for pushing them 10K rep again on 3 factions for easy quests every couple of days. so every little bit of g helps there for me cause I don’t have patience nor time to do AH.
its boring when you’ve out geared rewards but there’s still a few minor reasons to do them imo.

There’s only 5 choices for emissary rewards:
- Azerite Power
- Azerite Gear
- Non-Azerite Gear (note: Weapon-specific caches, Tortollan rings/trinkets fall under this)
- War Resources
- Gold
Random is random, and there’s no rule that says you have to go through the entire cycle before it repeats. Maybe that would help.

I agree that they’re getting stale after 6+ months at least I don’t need to keep doing them forever. Thankfully my reps have been completed for a while and the paragon caches no longer reward mounts so I have no need for them now.

It does seem a tad bit skewed since the patch came out.
Azerite armor is useless when you already have three pieces at or past max. When you have the same reward in that regard. Smashing it for the residuum isn’t really worth the time either. Give me gold or ap personally and I’ll consider doing them
Why would you want emissaries to always feel required or worthwhile?
Because it is a daily that is supposed to draw you to the game because of its reward.
A one time quest for that day that offers some sort of power gain despite everything else.
I don’t feel wqs are even rewarding enough to get off my butt and go do them personally except on a brand new character

I also will not move past the temple unless something might possibly add some sort of power gain to my character. (This includes fishing for titan forged wq gear)
In legion we always had that chance at an legendary even doing mundane things, so we all went out happily doing them all for a chance at a lego.

yep, that’s about the same thing for me; I really won’t go do it, it would honestly have to titanforge from 355-360 > past 400-415 for it to even be counted to be considered for me to equip these things; otherwise it feels pretty trashy. Can’t even be asked to go do a wq trinket for expulsom honestly. I’d rather sit on my RP realm and RP instead lmao
I’d also like to add that I basically did every ap wq for the past few weeks pretty dedicatedly trying to get that last +5 ilvl on the azerite gear and I’m burning myself out doing this, it’s just so boring
There is no need to grind azerite right now, beyond the 1 lvl a week after the reduction.
The entire system is about to be replaced (8.2), and the cap is lvl 50.
Beyond raid days, and needing materials to make pre-pots, flasks and feasts…
Even mythic + for me… eh… I did the 10 get something I already have high ilvl of… doesn’t really encourage me to do it again.
I did an 8 this week, and have no desire to push it further.
SAME. I don’t even have the desire to push my weekly +10 out of the way anymore. All my azerite pieces minus my chest are like… BIS and it’s not like it’s gonna matter in a few months when we all replace it. Having a lvl 44 neck is relatively okay I guess, but I guess it’s just… well, it’s a treadmill that only goes so far and they’re stopping azerite’s 30% reduction after next week. (Currently 38k to level to 45 for me)

A weapon chest more often - even for off specs at this point - wouldn’t hurt. I feel like it’s azerite and resources, or low level gear I don’t need almost ever day.

The AP ones I skip (won’t farm AP, don’t care). And yeah, that has led me to not do emissaries for days and days in a row already. Still don’t matter, not doing it for that. And I’m not doing it for 2k gold either (can make that in the AH in far less time).
I will, however, do azerite ones for the residum. And gear ones for the DE material.
But I do think its just pure RNG and we all have to deal with not getting exactly what we want ever day.
