This boss is way over tuned for random daily 100+ people in CRZ fighting it.
Too many mushrooms, too much passive aura damage.
Also please take a look at all the other anniversary bosses.
Kazzak and Azuregos are the easiest and that’s saying something.
I agree, all the Nightmare dragons are way over tuned. Azuregos and Kazzak are no problem, but I dread moving on to Dragon of Nightmare bosses. They really live up to their name in BFA.
Usually it takes up to five minutes to kill a nightmare dragon with an 80% success rate. This boy took me over an hour, wiping 30 seconds into each pull. AoE that chases people, 10k ticks from the nature aura and mushrooms spawning while we’re alive (they used to only spawn upon death) rapidly filling the entire area. We didn’t struggle nearly as much with Emeriss last year, and today’s raiders are just as geared as those back then. We were only successful in killing him tonight because a small group engaged him until 20% then the rest of us swarmed in. Ultimately, I’ll have to skip this one every fourth day, as 400 gold in repairs for a 30-gold reward isn’t very appealing.
