Went to try Emeriss, and it seems like the actual abilities and fight are genuinely bugged.
" Spore Cloud - whenever a player dies during the encounter, they transform into a poisonous mushroom. Anyone near the player will take loads of damage. Avoid at all costs."
But these mushrooms were spawning on alive players, on a timer, nonstop. What the hell are we supposed to do? Has anyone been able to down it?
No no, the fight is the same as it has always been. I don’t bother this guy anymore; besides he has the same loot tables as the other 3 anyways.
Okay that is just stupid, the videos and info I found were for the classic version. So this is how they updated it. That’s brutal.
Yes, exactly. I think one year I went in with like 3-4 raid groups and did it.

Downed it. Was very difficult. Ran away and healed myself the whole time.

All of the anniversary bosses are kinda tough this time around but Emeriss is the worst for sure.
Just did Emeriss on 4th toon.
Literally 40 people on THE OTHER SIDE of the bowl halfway up a hill while a half dozen try-hards took 20 minutes to kill it.
But we all got gold/loot for spectating!
I’m telling ya - just tag any of the Dragons of Nightmare and go afk on a hill somewhere outside aura range til it is dead.
LOL been doing that all the time in the air…I just wait till low % then zoom in and tag and run away…esp on my low gear alts I have been taking…
Both Eastern Kingdom’s Dragons of Nightmare are the hardest, with Emeriss being by far the worst. Always has been.
The two Kalimdor ones are easier by comparison, as is Azuregos.
Glad I’m too lazy to go put there, lol. I forgot about those dragons being a wild mess. My monk got 2 akama hatchets off Doomwalker so far, so I can’t complain!

Just the scene when you come back to the battlefield and see all those mushrooms. It’s the most hilarious wow thing ever.
I have never seen a proper strategy guide for any of these dragons. But Emeriss is absolutely the worst. I’d just like to know WTF I’m supposed to do so I can at least do some damage.

Tanked him on my pally all the way around the zone, was doing great, then i died when he was at 9% because there was no more room.
Kiting is the way to do it, just like back in nilla. Thing is, they took 20 min or more to bring down then, and gave a TON of loot.
They were far more fun then. Now they just chain cast fear and stun. Like 15 stuns in a row with no way to avoid it. 
So glad the next 3 are easier.

It’s been like this since 2017 for when blizz brought these bosses back for the anniversary.
Emeriss was the worst and lethon being 2nd worst but suffering from participation because of location in hinterlands.
As for others, last I checked there were in fact unique pieces from each boss, with them also sharing a certain pool of items. Dragonspur wraps only came from emeriss and deviate growth cap only from lethon.
All the things addon will have all the exact items.

This is the loot table, for the anniversary event. It has always been the loot table. All 4 dragons are 100% the SAME.
Not sure what you’re trying to prove. Yes we’re all well aware there’s 4 dragons. Do you read what you link?

Their loot tables are all different 
And some items that are not on that list drop,I got a neck piece on one of my alts that’s not listed.
