Tried to do a random heroic earlier in a fully decked out lvl 70 timewalker character, best gear I could obtain, all BiS gems and sockets… It was harder than a normal raid. The scaling is hideously bad, like omfg HOW is it THIS BAD? I can jump on a low lvl char and magically steamroll a heroic, but on my 70 with the same EXACT character/spec/setup… I do 50% less dps ???

Nope, in fact, it’s actually the opposite. If you have a very low level character in heroic, you’ll stomp the whole dungeon! The higher you go, especially max lvl 70, the harder it is. At level 70, it’s insanely hard.

I think sometimes its just DPS who arent taking hits who think its ok because they haven’t been offed by random AoE enough times yet. But tanks are getting chunked for half their health from an autoattack. Healers are getting aggro with a single HoT and getting 1 shot by the boss even after waiting 10 seconds to press any buttons.
Stuff is not working correctly. The above scenarios should not be happening even if the person had 0 level 70 gear. You can level to cap in the normal game with shoddy mismatched lower level gear and be fine. Not strong, but fine.
It’s not even “fine” in Remix, apparently. And please keep in mind this is a mode Blizzard is advertising as the player being “overpowered”. By all means it should be dramatically EASIER than normal Retail. It is not intended to be a hardcore experience.

Some times you win scaling lottery, some times you don’t. Some times you have few low level characters in your party and the whole instance gets melted like butter, other times you have same amount of low level characters and everything hits like nuke. How? Who knows. Scaling lottery, some times you win, some times you lose.

Actually im GLAD this event is happening. It’s the ugly truth people ignore. Scaling in this game is horrendous and feels horrible.

They could hotfix it, but they won’t. They only hotfix scaling when it’s giving players an advantage, like Dawn of the Infinite at the start of S4. And they hotfix it quick too!

Oh no, all 70s heroic is torture, when you queue in you just pray you have lowbies in the instance and RNGesus is on your side (some times your have lowbies and you’ll STILL get nuked). That’s how I got my rings, pray for level scaling lottery is on your side, and definitely no instance full of level 70s.
