I just left ashenvale for the 5th time over the last week ive gone time after time after time to get my rep that i need and yet every single time im ganked and camped until im forced to leave i still cant even finish the recover field reports quest
im currently 685/3k of neutral and ive gotten my BM loot already i got my preraid gear and worked on my professions the only thing i have left thats important is farming out the emerald wardens rep which is completely broken due to pvp on these servers
I have been mass reporting all the griefers for blocking progress and encourage the server to mass report them as well maybe a 2 week vacation will give them some clarity on how to be a decent human being
PVP should not be allowed to block progress for a pve event
world pvp is just fine even pvping while your doing quests is fine but to sit at the choke hold of a quest area and stop all progress for others
then there needs to be action taken against them
If you reply with pvp on a pvp server or anything other kind of low IQ statements just dont bother commenting
Well keep posting OP. Blizzard hears the player base. The increased guards and I’m not sure about MC change on boats, but Blizzard hears. We need to keep on until we get “War Mode” on every server. The guards are the first “concession”. People keep complaining and all the ppl that tell you to go to a PVE server, well you know what to do with them.
Put them on forum ignore. I’ll post a link on how to do it again. They are trying to derail these complaint threats. We need to derail them.
Yes, I understand. That’s why I quit on all my alts.
Why are you trying to farm Emerald Warden Rep in Ashenvale at lvl 50?
The Hinterlands or Feralas are literally 3-4 times better rep for max level players. Not to mention you get 1000 rep daily just for doing any single incursion quest in one of those two zones.
This is exactly why i rolled on a pve server. I knew 100% this stuff was going to ruin the experience. Unfortunately, that is how pvp servers work. Player problem unfort, this is what anyone playing on a pvp server is signing up for.
You’ll be gaslit by bads who can’t PVP under balanced circumstances, but you’re right. It’s the same reason cities have guards.
I only play PVP servers on era and it’s fine. The key difference is that you don’t have to go to one sardine can spot to level in the most efficient way (which is repping at the same time for gear you will need).
On a functional PVP server, when griefing happens, you can either call for backup or move to another area. That’s not an option on SoD, because you will lose all efficiency and be wasting your time.
PVP server players did not sign up for that situation. They signed up for a situation where they could leave the area and go farm efficiently elsewhere.
For real. People act like the developers don’t have a vision for the game. The vision most certainly is not you sitting face down on a 2 minute rez timer, being forced to log out.
If this happens they are in danger of losing subs, having too much degen game play can actually hurt their bottom line, no matter how much people wanna gas light.
Well a dev, Tom Ellison, tweeted out the other day a question on if people would take advantage of leaving PVP servers for PVE servers if given the opportunity.
So it sounds like they will be offering that soon. Hopefully for free.
For the longest time ive agreed with the statement pvp happened on a pvp server.
But now i realize just how much of clowns some of these players are. Im not sure if theres a problem with layering, but the alliance raids sitting in certain zones like the mauradon portals and the incursions is just flat out pathetic.
I joined pvp realms for a pvp community, im okay with getting ganked through questing by groups, or any other type of pvp on these realms, but for days this same garbage has been happening
