Anytime I run the emerald garden ascent course, if i take the first speed boost on the ground and double press spacebar to fly, it will immediately disconnect me from the server.

I am having the same problem so this must be bugged. Really enjoying the races its fun ! hope it get fixed soon so we can continue
Same exact issue occurring here as well. Consistent and repeatable.
Had the same issue - don’t use it at all (first speed boost). Just start by immediately launching UP then go as normal. Will work and the course was easy to Gold (3seconds remaining) so it’s not needed in the end.

Same. Really poorly designed start to the race too, needing to walk to get to a speed boost.
It’s definitely the speed boost, I don’t think it’s intended to walk to get it, so it just breaks the game causing a DC.

I am still having this same issue. Hopefully it gets fixed soon, the races are a blast!
