ok Blizzard what are you actually doing? who is fact checking these articles you’re putting out? first one listed patch 4.4.0 instead of patch 4.0.4 and now this one gives us this gem:
“After the abrupt departure of Trade Prince Gallywix at the conclusion of the Fourth War, the goblins of the Bilgewater Cartel were left temporarily leaderless. Now Trade Prince Gazlowe leads the goblins with his clever wits, representing them on the Horde council.”
you are aware that this is Cataclysm Classic, yeah? as in the Fourth War has not happened yet. Pure genius!

That sounds right? I am not sure what you are referring to exactly though, but Cata Classic will be released as patch 4.4.

but Cata only goes up to 4.3.4 - so new patch then?
Like always, yes.
Vanilla went up to 1.12.3, and Classic released as 1.13.
TBC went up to 2.4.3, TBC Classic released as 2.5.
WotLK went up to 3.3.5a, and WotLK Classic released as 3.4.
Cata went up to 4.3.4, and Cata Classic continues the pattern releasing as 4.4.

I always chuckle whenever posts about ‘new’ stuff for Classic show up. Stuff like Season of Discovery is worth announcing because players don’t really know what to expect from it. But something like this is like…I mean sure, Classic is just relaunching content and expansions from the past, but that’s just it, they’re relaunches. I certainly hope that nobody even in the WoW community is surprised or hyped, wondering what Cata Classic is going to bring to the game.
They missed an opportunity right there, yeah.
