My Paladin is Holy. I play holy, I quest moslty in holy or prot. I dungeon as holy. I raid as holy, I pvp as holy…Holy Cow…
I have gotten 4 embers of fyralath from LFR.
I have not played ret spec since legion. I don’t like it at all. It’s lame and all you do is just push whatever skill is glowing next, its like botting almost. Dear god, paladins get their hands held too much…anyway.
So now I have an increased chance for a legendary axe that I won’t ever use.
BUT THEN MY FURY WARRIOR, THE ONE WHO WOULD DEFINATELY USE THE LEGENDARY AXE AND TWICE?Not a single ember even once, and he did the raid every week so far except last week.
My paladin barely does lfr, yet it feels like every fyraak kill got me an ember.
And again, my warrior who would actually use it? Not once.
Why do they do loot like this? I understand RNG, but this is something else. Diablo 2 giving me Necromancer gear on my Druid is annoying RNG. But this? This is something else entirely.
Why is loot for a spec I don’t use, being given to me? Why not the 15 ret paladins in every LFR Fyraak kill? I am sure they would have loved to have that Ember, yet I noticed only two people got one.
Me, and the Tank…
Why?
WHY? It makes absolutely no sense lol.
It should be if what you say is true, because I have one character of every class.
My DK hasn’t gotten any. When did they make it 100%?Because it feels recent.
And if its supposed to be 100%, then i need to open a ticket. Not sure whats confusing lol.
I just thought it was wild that a holy only paladin and a tank got the ember, but not anybody else.
Thats it. And it sounds like they need to get a ticket open as well lol.
here is how the Ember of Fyralath drop has functioned since the beginning of the raid:
Every time you kill Fyrakk on LFR, you have a chance to get one of two things: You get the Axe or you get a greater ember. If you didn’t get the axe, you will 100% get an ember
you can’t see the other members of the raid getting the Greater Ember, it is personal loot and is not broadcast via a chat channel. So how did you know the tank got one? Did he tell you he got one, because you would not be able to see that he looted one (same as how you would not be able to see the other members of the raid looting the Greater Ember of Fyralath).
I will link a Wowhead article that explains this for you:
So then why do I see them in chat?
Sounds like I am having a serious issue with my ui. JFC. I need to go now, gotta open a big ticket because some serious crap is going down.
Thanks for the info peeps. Seriously, thanks.
Blizzard…
Is your warrior doing Fyrakk on normal or higher as well? A Greater Ember from a higher difficulty would bake in the benefit of Embers from lower difficulties, so there should be no point in seeing a ember drop from LFR Fyrakk in that case.
blizzard offering rewards for offspecs has been the norm for a long time. Even if you switch loot specialization manually instead of having it auto doesn’t seem to matter.
It seems like their little idea to increase mileage on the treadmill by nudging people towards playing alt specs. If you have to resort to that to get people to play longer, your game has issues.
lol what would be kinda funny in it’s own way though. Not sure why they would want to encourage healers to be dps though. Feel like they should be giving ret paladins a rare healing legedary lol.
