Embers of Fyr'alath Empowered - February 20

Unfortunately, that 15% is for week 40 (we’re on 11), I’m guessing S4 will be over by then.

IMO the Devs should let everyone know at the beginning who the legendary is for and make it either;

extremely rare, only for players that kill the final boss on Mythic difficulty. To reduce buyers, require the player to clear mythic multiple times to collect embers for the chance to get the drop from Fyrakk. Not used for progression but a reward for completing the highest difficulty.

Or

everybody gets it from any difficulty with a high enough drop chance to get it early and use for progression. Not really a legendary but a looted quest for a unique weapon that can be used during the season/tier.

Just seems like there is indecision on the Devs part between these items being true legendary or unique class drops for the tier.

Oh darn, that sucks

Yeah, the numbers for LFR and Normal both seem WAY too low. As I’ve said in other posts, might as well just have said it only drops in Heroic/Mythic and I would have been fine with that (I mean it is 496 ilvl). But by giving us a carrot (without any idea of drop rate) that it can drop in LFR / Normal they have given hope to a lot of people. Unfortunately the numbers say it’s going to be more like winning the lottery. I took the data from the wowhead chart (which unfortunately they didn’t fully include), but based on my extrapolations, LFR will hit 100% drop rate on week 234, only 223 weeks to go (for those who are curious, that will be the week starting 6/6/2028 lol)

I’m really looking forward to that Axe mog when I’m 35!

Though law of probabilities would mean even if you were doing it weekly on say 3 characters on LFR it would be more likely than not one of them would have it by the end of S4.

I agree with this, the disappointment this lego gives me is really not healthy… if only my class dps is not tuned with lego (furywarrior) i would’nt care complaining about the drop rate 1% or less. Legendaries should be OP once you get it you out dps the other class for me thats the essence of having a very rare and called “legendaries”

Yeah, that’s my takeaway from this.

Cool, guess I’m done playing until S4 starts.

I couldn’t agree more, it’s absolutely frustrating trying to push for the top end content and be held back by this system because a % of the damage I should be doing is absent and not by lack of trying. I’ve been running heroic every week on multiple characters to try and get to where I need to be.

Everyone like a fast reclear. Even if it’s just that that’s a pretty good deal.

They balance around legendary weapons if even .1% of players have them.

i mean, people who got cutting edge are already very good at the game and giving one person like 5k more single target dps isn’t going to create a noticeable reduction in time to reclear, so imo not worth the gold you spend to make the legendary

It’s more like around 5-10% more damage for each of your dps that has it. It’s still decently noticeable. Sure you might not need it, but it will still make reclear more fun as you get power rewards and reclears will get more easy so less time spent reclearing.

reclears will get *easier.

exactly, so why spend all that gold along with all the time required to finish the quests to build the legendary?

it’s just not worth.

more easy is grammatically correct :person_shrugging:

I mean, you know how people love their dps right. You think it wouldn’t be worth? That’s on you. People at that level can get gold way more easier than you can anyway by selling carries.

it actually is not and never will be grammatically correct.

selling carries is a plague upon the raiding and mythic plus community, i would never engage in that activity - i don’t need gold badly enough to stoop down to that level. in fact, i don’t need gold at all… it is quite easy to make gold from crafting, AH flipping, etc.

maybe you need gold that badly, but i don’t

Not what google says. xd

I mean gold gets you anywhere you want faster, time is money. I would never say no to more gold. Also AH flipping is an unethical from my perspective as boosting as you’re profiting from your fellow man.

so you believe everything you find on google? good luck with that XD

actually it is not… someone puts up a product on the AH for cheaper than normal because they want a quick sale and need gold ASAP…

i am actually doing them a favor by purchasing it quickly and getting that gold to them.

thanks for your input, though my wonderful friend. We all greatly appreciate it.

I mean did you find a rulebook where it says I can’t?

Both are providing a service and is wild capitalism. Hey if it was me I would ban boosting and advertising and put a 25% tax on ah sales with a cap on trades but you know Blizzard isn’t really interesting in that kind of stuff. So don’t hate the player hate the game. I’m not gonna farm herbs that are worthless when I can sell a boost.

if you need a rule book to tell you that google is not an accurate source of information, i genuinely cannot help you…

i’m just saying someone has to be very desperate in order to stoop so low as to selling mythic plus, pvp or raid boosts.

if they want to be looked upon as desperate, then sure they can sell all the carry services they want.

anyways you have a lovely day, i’ve already explained my position and proven that you are incorrect, so i see no further reason to engage here.

thanks for the wonderful conversation, my lovely friend

many sources are saying I’m valid you’re free to provide yours.

So you want me to farm herbs for around 3k gold an hour? That’s what you want? xd
Or you’d just rather I buy a token with real money xd

I don’t know my dude I think someone doing what is more efficient for them with their time is not a bad thing but keep exploiting your fellow man on the ah.
