I don’t know how else to word this, But I was playing a thing called the Ember Court, It needs me to RSVP specific NPC characters. Veterans need no explanation this is old content. My issue comes with one mission to invite the Plague Doctor. I have to chase 4 slimes into “Something” which was never specified on the mini or highlighted as a physical object. After about 30 minutes of chasing small yellow slimes, Literally every single slime got stuck in some form of collision or object. Be a rock, slope or angle, it will wiggle left and right.
I had a full on meltdown pretty much. I am struggling to move past this quest. In refusing to complete it I harm potential reputations and player happiness, which is one of the two things I actually do on this game. I hunger for reputation to be best / exalted. I can’t get an RSVP from a 4 year old quest to work right and I wonder why is everything either so conveluted, confusing or bullsnap broken to the point I need wowhead just to make sense of a MMO quest chain? Why are the slimes so defiant to commands? Why do I keep beating my head into stupidity like treasures blinking, characters phasing and harassment from users in-between as a LFR and BG open queue junkie.
What is the point of restricting a chunk of content because of incompetence of the product? I would like to think I am rather capable, But as internet conversations tend to go, won’t be long before the “Git Gud” and “Misdirection to defend product” before empathy. I have a freaking laundry list, this was just the moment that made me alt tab and write this.
Needing wowhead is as old as the game is, and is expected by the devs since it’s part of their GM responses to various quest related questions.
As for question not all little slimes will drop collectibles. Better kill a big blue or yellow dudes, they have 100% odds. You then drop the collectible in the big vat.
The vat will have number above it that says what color is in. At the end, a rare pops for each color. Purple one (equal red and blue and a lower amount of yellow) can drop a mount.

Maybe you need to take a break, it isn’t that serious. At any point that a game does something like this to someone they really need to step away for a while.
Where you have to deposit the slimes for the rsvp is really close to where the slimes spawn, first time I did that quest I tried to bring/push them towards the quest giver which was absolutely painful. The actual spot you deposit them is by the little “hut” where all the big giant slime dudes are walking. Not near the actual pool to do the r/o/b stuff
I remember thinking to myself wow that was really simple after doing what sounds like you did and almost wanting to give up.
Also fwiw while ember court is a daily reset, it’s best to do it when there’s a calendar event like midsummer or something because you can max your reps in 2 runs. It’s like 300% bonus rep.
op even when that quest was relevant the slime would still get stuck on stuff

I am not talking about the 30 slimes for a big one, Im talking about the RSVP Plague quest to rally 4 small invulnerable slimes to something.
Ooh right I remember that one now, sorry. Yeah it can be buggy to move em. But the goal is highlighted on minimap no?
