I have taken this expansion quite casually, and only just crafted some actual items, i noticed that ascension did not scale with ilvl, is this the case for every embellishments?
Because if that’s the case this is crazy, who the hell comes up with these ideas at blizzard?
This is just gonna make embellishments irrelevant by next patch.
Good job. Maybe you should double or even triple check your ideas before you implement them, make a button that asks you “are you sure” and then when you press yes it asks “are you really sure?”.
Going by what they did in DF, they adjust embellishments as needed to keep up with player power. Also to make it so that underpowered enhancements are made more relevant. They also add new ones periodically (e.g. Shadow flame patch in season 2 DF).
That’s not what I remember, I remember embellishments getting more powerful with higher ilvl.
Right now if you craft a 606 item or a 636 ascendance is still the same secondary stats gain, as an example.
You’re missing my point. They adjusted the embellishments as needed in DF.
I don’t see an issue if they are not scaling * as long as they continue to evaluate them every tier*.
Next tier, who knows. In 10.2 they nerfed them to the ground and made a lot of them obsolete. I’d honestly be surprised if they didn’t at least add one new embellishment or embellished armor.
Just saying it’s a bit premature to complain about embellishments for a tier that has not yet occurred.
