Embellishment Limit and 2 piece craft set

Hello,
Can somebody please help me to confirm if a crafted 2 piece set with set proc counts as 2 embellishments or 1 if you have two pieces of this gear. For example, I already have one embellishment with the lariat neckless. I just crafted Chronocloth Sash and now I have 2 embellishments despite not having the 2 peice proc yet. If i craft Chronocloth gloves next to get 2 piece proc would i not be able to equip them cause already at embellish limit? Wasn’t sure if embellishment for crafted piece was on the gear or on the set proc itself. Wanted to confirm to avoid wasting a spark and crafting this find out i cant even equip it.

You can equip unlimited amount of crafted gear, but you can only have 2 embellishments crafted equipped at any given time. I think, I could be wrong.

If you wear both pieces of a set, that’s your 2 embellished pieces, right there. You’ve already hit cap.

It’s dumb.

There’s even a leather 3-piece set of embellished gear. You can’t even wear all 3 pieces. (The set bonus only requires 2 of the 3, but still…)

It counts as two. (LW has shoulders/belt when combined give me a set bonus of haste) It counts as two embellishment. (I learned this the hard way when I hastely had a lariat crafted for myself.) I now have a few weeks of faith ahead of me. (I need to re-kit myself, I want the 2 set.)

Can Blizz please remove the embellish limit in 10.0.7?

If you run Normal raids and above, this won’t affect you. But for LFR people and those of us in 385, with more then two pieces of embellished crafted gear at 405, it’s ludicrous that we cannot wear everything we make.

Will the world end if this is allowed? No. It will all be obsolete either in 10.1 or maybe even in 10.0.7.

Why in the world wouldn’t you just craft the non embellished gear instead of wasting sparks on gear you know has an equip limit?

Or just have a crafter cleanse an embellishment on a piece you put one on.

But you don’t have to craft a piece with an embellishment on it. You can always get it recrafted later to add/remove one (outside of those with built-in effects, obviously).

Keep in mind that the food embellishment from the soup event doesn’t count towards those two.

But none of this changes the fact that crafted gear, even at 405 and even with embellishments, is about to become irrelevant, and superceded by 10.0.7 and 10.1 gear.

So please remove the embellishment limit.

There are a few crafted things that are like, “Use both of your embellishments for this one effect.”

There are the ones that require two pieces to activate (2pc Embellish set), as well as the Toxic items that need a second item with a Toxified patch (counts as 1 embellishment but does nothing on its own) for a more potent effect. The toxic ones are probably much better example of “Optional but not required” but yeah, the 2pc required ones are kind of weird.
