Anyone else feel second hand embarrassment while playing DF?

No. Just disappointment. DF had a lot of promise but I was ultimately let down. I’m sure the next 3 expansions will let me down also.

No, I expect wow to be mediocre.
And for a while now the expansions were all 4.5 to 5.5 a solid meh
I don’t have to play this game to feel like an embarrassment oh you mean the game in general well I guess there are more times than I care to admit I’ve felt embarrassment.

Dang it Freddy you always pop up when I least expect it.
Just like that dream last night I had won the lotto everything was going good I walked back to my apartment and who’s sitting on the couch Freddy Krueger. I immediately looked at him and said I’m not going to give a chance to spend any of this money am I? He simply laughed

What’s ironic is the OP the one who looks foolish in this thread. Not us. I mean he’s the one literally paying for something that he finds and embarrassing and doesn’t enjoy.
It is as silly as complaining about a restaurant’s sickening food yet you still go and eat there every night

I enjoy the game. I heard the title though and thought of my gm. Lol she says that if folks mess up sometimes as a joke or if she messes up.

Friendo, if playing Dragonflight is the first time you’ve felt a bit embarrassed about playing WoW, I admire your confidence.
If “There must always be a Lich King” wasn’t too much for you, you can probably make it through an excess of friendship, though.

I’d be embarrassed if I was one of those people who were unhappy with the game but kept on playing. What is wrong with them?

I was questing in the Emerald Dream and found Q’onzu pretty charming and way cooler than every character from WotLK; he reminds me of Bwonsamdi or like maybe an FF character written by Ted Woolsey
The only time I’m really embarrassed to play this game is maybe when all the characters are meatheads and/or edgelords
I really enjoy DF. My husband, who quit WoW mid TBC because he was exhausted of the endless rep grind, has finally considered resubbing. Nothing else in the past 16 years has perked his interest as much as Dragon Flight. The dynamic flying is a huge selling point for him because he’s an arial combat fanatic. The only thing holding him back from jumping back in is he feels there’s just not enough arial combat opportunity to justify resubbing.
But, at the very least he’ll hop on my alts and do the dragon races for me regularly. Saves me time, nets me gold. Win-win.

You’ve got some serious problems if playing a video game makes you feel embarrassed.
I have no idea what a second hand embarrassment is ,only one type straight forward.
