ELvui vs Blizzard ui

Im thinking about trying ELvui and had a question about addons, should i just delete them all and go with Elvui>?

If you like bloat then elvui is right up your alley. Better off with the stock ui customized with weakauras.

Elvui is extremely customizable and pretty much always worth it if base UI isn’t doing it for you.

If you really want to take the all or nothing approach, I’d back up your addon folder first in case you wanna make a quick swap back. Really all elv would be replacing is UI addons anyway. I still use plater, bagnon, etc. alongside elv.

Do understand, making elvui work for you does take a bit of time to tweak all the fonts, positioning, bars, what to show / not show, everything really. You can find / import profiles online as well if you wanna take a shortcut there.

Every time I try to get into a new layout UI I always end up going right back to blizzard default. I just cannot do anything other than usual.

I couldn’t imagine playing without Elvui.

That said here’s a pretty good import for base DF edit mode.

I was a staunch believer in ElvUI up until they updated the GUI. I am really happy with the built in GUI now.

Yeah, weak auras is the one add-in I use nowadays.

I use elvui for a bunch of things like nameplates, frames, action bars, inventory, and the little feature that shows how much gold I have on all my characters. Very useful.

Before the UI overhaul that Blizz did I used Elvui exclusively.

It’s a clean and modern look but to me doesn’t really feel like Warcraft.

After they overhauled it though, I got rid of Elvui. Better for me if I can just log in and do stuff without being bombarded with LUA errors.

I don’t like ElvUI mostly because its just other addons wrapped into one big addon. So everything breaks when that ONE addon breaks.
