Elvui Skillbars

Hi, ive looked everywhere for some sort of help but unfortunately im different and makes thing hard to find that help my situation haha
So i have my elvui skills bars and was wondering it i could change the first 3 skill bars to change depending on my stance, not just my first skill bar. I want to be able to say be in cat form and have skill bars 1,2 and 3 to be different then when im in bear form. I can only manage to make the first skillbar do it or cope the paging for the first skillbar into the other 2 but then they are just mirrored?
please any help would be awesome or even if its possible

Bars 7/8/9/10 are what you are calling “Skill” bars.

They’re normally not available for manipulation.

These swap in to replace ONE of your normal bars as part of dancing around in different stances (same as with Blizzard).

Rogues swap out bar 7. Druids swap out all four.

This is ElvUI implementing part of Blizzard’s UI in their UI, not new behavior for ElvUI and I’m not certain it’s amenable to manipulation in combat but it should be something that you could do out of combat easily enough with a bit of Lua code.

That said, you can drop your skills into macros that are essentially then locked into place by bar/button and in the MACROS have stance conditionals that would give you the same effect (assuming you haven’t go really complex macros now).

I don’t know a thing about Druids or Rogues, so this is going to be entirely hypothetical here:

Assuming you dropped this on ElvUI_Bar2Button1 then as you changed forms, that button’s action would change as well. You can add conditionals to it easily enough.

You’d have to build your macros, not from the point of view of “What is this macro’s basic functionality, but with conditionals to perhaps alter targeting or use an alternate ability for the same thing” but from the point of view of “This is what I want to have on ElvUI_BarXButtonY based on what stance I’m in” but that’s certainly doable.

I see what you mean (kinda) its just coding or anything of this stuff goes right over my head. Id have no idea what ‘code’ id need to put in depending on my stance/form. But ty for the reply :slight_smile: Ideally i just wish there was a button to tick that depending on form it would change lol ‘tickbox to change skills per stance’ or soemthing would be amazing haha

It looks like you only have two bars to mess with (bar 1 is handled automatically).
