Elvui or Default?

I am back after 4+ years away on a new account. I know the new UI is 1,000 times better than before, but does it come close to Elvui or is there really no need for Elvui any more?

So it still is missing a lot of what Elvui does/has?

I play standard UI. Seems okay to me.

Default. I’m but a simple paladin, though.
I try to use as few addons as I can, and elvui, imo, is too much for me. I’ve used it a bunch in the past, but after blizz did some work on theirs, it’s good enough for me.

It’s either or The revamped basic UI is better that’s for sure… But you get more granular control with elvui…

Depends how far the rabbit hole you want to go down with customizing your UI…

I had ElvUI for all of 15 mintues in Legion and deleted it. I hate it. Dominos, Plater and Weakauras is what is use for my UI

I had ElvUI for a few years and I liked it alright. Now I use Bartender4, Plater, Bagnon, and Weakauras. I like that set up better.

I’ve always gravitated back to the default UI. I’ve tried several different UI’s over the years, but I just can’t get used to them.

elvui sucks. start with using the new built in edit mode and see if that does most of what you need, then grab a few smaller addons to fill in the gaps

Someone suggested Baganator/Syndicator to me a while back, and I switched to it from Bagnon and never looked back.

Elvui is a lot to get used to I don’t like it personally

But the default UI still isn’t nearly good enough, I use bartender/bagnon/sexymap etc

I just use the base UI I don’t see the need for elvui unless you like how it looks

batender, baganator, sexymap, suf, plater, a few others. the base ui is garbo…but I don’t like elvui so I work around it with a mix of other addons.

Elvui all the way, they have a great discord and always help community to help you out if you’re trying to do something and you’re stuck.

Those who try elvui and delete it just don’t have the patience to learn something new.

Try out Spartan UI :smiley: it looks so good!

Eluvi became my comfort zone.

Default is zzzzz for me now

If you do content as low as LFR I would recommend Elvui.

it’s kind of a loaded question. You’re asking if an add-on with complete customization is going to be a better option than the default screen. maybe you should just use what you prefer and try them both just to make sure.
