Elves mean nothing in magic for the Horde

Horde having Blood Elves and Nightborne means NOTHING - for their magical strength, because the Alliance have Jaina to flex on all of them and make them look pathetic or scrabble to match her power.

Without Jaina? That’s fine, the combined “might” of the Nightborne and Blood elves will be equally matched by the humans of the Kirin Tor and “Alliance-Only” High Elves, maybe a few Nightelves with their new Highborne allies made in Cata too. …

So ultimately …

Alliance win every cosmic, magical and aesthetic in the game.

If the factions are to unite in some grand evolution both in lore and gameplay, naturally the Horde will be dissolved – and their races will join the Alliance who clearly, easily and obviously triumph over the Horde at this point in time.

Odd questions for both sides in this thread:

  • Horde — Which magical field would you like to see hold more relevance & significance over most others? :open_mouth:
  • Alliance — Which race would you like to see get more relevance & significance other than elves or humans?

All I read here is that you jelly we have Jaina and you’d like to be able to simp for her as we do.

It’s ok, I understand that feeling.

pretty sure draenei alone match the horde magically.

People forget that they’re a society of mages and magitech inventors.

Troll Mage = Greatest Mage.

Prove me wrong.

Well, if the Horde didn’t waste so much time effing around trying to take over the world, they wouldn’t find out so much.

Eh it was kinda both jelly but also acknowledgement.

There’s still people on the forums who believe Thalyssra or Rommath could trump Jaina on her best day :joy: lol

That too. :dracthyr_nod:

I dunno man… nightborne time magic is pretty effective.

Hmm, I see. What other horde magic users stand out who are still alive?

I mean, who wouldn’t be jealous?

And it’s displayed like a sloppy crumbling noodle compared to the juggernaut of the Alliance’s magic. :grimacing:

If Blizzard ever utilised Nightborne time magic, I’m sure they’d write it as having the Alliance just finding a simple easy way to dispel it – with little to no consequence or hinderance of their path forward. :person_shrugging:

Elisande kept entire armies frozen in time until we murdered the monster that fueled it. I’m sure the Belves would find a grand powersource to fuel such a spell and aid the Nighborne. Especially since their leaders are you know… married.

It would likely still be not a fair match in magics, but it’s at least a very annoying hurdle.

Although, if they played it right and used that trap to just contain Jaina, the fight could be more even. XD

I’m not doubting their capabilities, more-so just the writing of the story onward by Blizzard and how they’re generally compared.

Yea ok that’s fair. XD they can ruin everything. (that sounded like an EA games chime in my head…)

They should never have wasted Kael’thas as a raid boss.

Blood elves should be the strongest mages on Azeroth.

Problem is that Blizzard likes to make humans be the best in almost everything. And the few things humans aren’t the best in night elves are. Shamans are the sole exception, which might explain why there’s been like no shaman lore since Cata.

Maybe he wants to be her Thrall? (I still say they have a half human half orc love child hidden away somewhere.)

Yeah, it’s almost like the Horde is irrelevant at this point, and blizz has to constantly find ways to include the dirt hovel squatters in the story.

That shot of Jaina makes her look 55. She seems to have aged faster than Khadgar for some reason.

You’re not wrong there :joy: lol

I think you meant to say High Elves. Blood Elves are post mana-addicts who had become so addicted to it they practically withered without it.
