Elves & Helmets

No really I am actually very curious how does it/ or does not make it comfortable for them to wear helmets such as hoodies, plates etc.,

Is there any evidence of this that lore supports this otherwise?

Realistically to wear a helmet is a means to cover your whole head but elves having longer ears does it need to be tucked in or just puncture two holes on either side to accommodate that at the cost of …leaving the ears vulnerable? Wouldn’t the helmet also affect their strong hearing?

Bah its a Sunday post but hey I am actually curious…

Elves that deny the world the ability to see their beauty make me sad.

It wouldn’t really be any different than humans. Either way, if you cover your ears you’re going to effect your hearing and if you crush them it’ll be uncomfortable.

True…

Just the long eared concept and helmets seems tricky then again it’s fantasy!

Well being that ears are made of cartilage one could presume that Elven ears are malleable.

Also due to the general fantasy aspect of this world helmetless armor is not exactly strange.

Lastly we have seen elven hoods have holes cut into them so that’s also a thing.
