From what I understand the elven races focus more on magic than anything else. They power everything with magic. The “tech” races would be the Goblins and Gnomes. So I’m gonna say no, not really, unless you consider magic based things to be technology.

Every Race has tech. That’s because the Engineering profession isn’t limited by race.

But as a group, Elves rely much more on magic than tech. And even when they do rely on tech, it’s usually something like “magitech”, where it’s like half magic and half tech.

This guy from the fight against Kael’thas comes to mind.

Elves are all about the magic, friend. We’re just not a tech-savvy people on the whole.

Generally speaking the Elven races of WoW are relatively staunch traditionalists and rely on their traditional centers of strength and expertise (magic for BE, nature for NE etc.)

Not to say that outliers don’t exist, I’d imagine that with both having involvement with the likes of Goblins and Gnomes that tech is a little less alien nowadays

I like imagining Dreta is friends with a lot of gnomes and that’s why she’s an engineer. :man_shrugging:

Glaive Throwers, Arcane/Blood Golems and the like are technically technology. It doesn’t have be fueled by steam or made of metal to be tech.

I’ve heard rumors of elven Technomancers but I believe they’ve died off long ago. :stuck_out_tongue:

Elves have magi technology. It’s like normal technology but 89% better because it can manipulate magical energy.

Also the garbage WoW devs refuse to allow the species to have what they would naturally have. Elves, being the longest lived would have the most technologically advanced cities and be the most powerful species, keeping the short lived species as slaves to do the grunt work.
