What do you think will happen next?
Efficiency.
He already has all the money, public opinion is next
Whatever garners the most attention next. No good billionaire philosophy here. Everyone you see from them they want you to see. It’s all a brand.
Hopefully he shuts it down entirely.
He just bought it. He would lose a lot of money if he shut it down.
A cow can dream.
Elon went full on Thanos
Unions, yes
twitter was a left wing echo chamber. But do I think Elon Musk buying it will change anything. Prolly not. Elon Musk werks for the military and the CIA so if you think things are going to change…
Outside of outright threats, pornography, and racist rhetoric, just let people from all sides tweet. I would think that most people are capable of reading something and determining for themselves if it is nonsense, etc. People need to learn how to think critically again, not be told what is good and what isn’t.
He got fined some time ago by the government with a threat of the next fine being in much higher unless he complies with the laws he is breaking.
What laws is he breaking?
Well, he broke several securities laws (one of which he complied with 11 days after the time allotted for him to comply by and the delay was to buy more stock in said company).
There is an active lawsuit against him over this as he was required to report the moment he hit 5% stock in the company in question. He didn’t.
Public health rules concerning the pandemic.
Rules regarding the safe operation of self-driving technologies on public roads.
The abuse of passive investor status (in regards to twitter). He was suppose to change his status from passive to active investor way before he hit the 9.6% mark (in fact the moment he hit the 5% mark).
Violation of U.S. Labor Laws.
There was a case involving a misleading 2018 tweet about his intention to take his Tesla electric vehicle company private at a premium price, the SEC penalized Musk and Tesla $20 million each.
Musk has also battled with the FAA in the past (and presumably in the present as well) over the testing of SpaceX rockets without the requisite permission. The FAA had denied a safety waiver that SpaceX had requested before the test flight was even launched but the company moved forward anyway.
I mean the man literally believes he is above the law.
Wow, what a jerk. He is a big jerk.
Me watching going with twitter last night.
And…Elon Musk reinstated Trump back to Twitter.
Hey Michael, close your mouth when you chew popcorn.
Elon drop big F bomb to Biden administration
