why are there so many rank 1s and Glads stuck at 2k+ MMR right now??? I shouldnt be playing with Absterge, Venruki, Supatease, Cdew at 2k+ MMR blizzard and NO ITS NOT A GOOD “LEARNING EXPERIENCE” tell me why do i have to face AWC competitors at this MMR lmao. I just want to be above average.

On the bright side if you end up crushing the lobby you can sometimes pull up their stream and here them whining about you which is always a nice lil ego boost

MMR is busted in blitz. How it’s currently averaging MMR vs CR badly needs to be fixed. Treating at 2200 CR player the same as a 2200 MMR player just doesn’t work. Something else needs to be added into the equation if that’s how they want it to work. if you have a 2-3 losses, even if you start going 50/50, you’ll keep going down. Too much RNG.

Solo shuffle MMR is still mega deflated, especially for healers
Blitz is messed up, but shuffle MMR and CR is absolutely fine. But yea Blitz absolutely it’s fried to a crispy. My Monk is 2600 MMR and gains 26 CR a game when my current CR is like 1650

Agreed, I’m probably nowhere near 2600 rating level for Blitz but my MMR is at 2600. I’ve played 17 total games and lost 3 so that’s probably why it sky rocketed
who cares if they are on a SL gladiator mount. When you start seeing enough, you begin to recognize if they just abused a class imbalance to get their mount. I have no friends, so i am a pathetic no glad. happens tho, i beat them all the time, as they beat me all the time.

I was actually reflecting on how I feel the same and the implications of being this way.
like yeah I want to be above average but not so far above average that I actually need to work hard for it. Just minimally enough that I can flex my cosmetics (the real endgame)

Yea the MMR gain/loss versus CR gain/loss is all out of wack. I’m assuming Blizzard did this as a safeguard to boosting or something but at this point it makes Blitz just a slow slog of a grind if you want to get your CR up to finally match MMR.
It’s not out of wack it’s exactly how rated battlegrounds was/is. You don’t have to agree with it but there’s no issues it’s working as blizzard intended it to
