NPC: Ellam

Ellam is a bakar creature that is supposed to spawn south-west of Timberstep Outpost in Ohn’ahran Plains (76.7, 30.5). It is required for the Dragon Isles Exploration achievement “Who’s a Good Bakar?”. I have camped the spawn point for the better part of today and Ellam has been a no-show.

Came across Ellam today at 6:08pm PST, with her bar being around 50% filled. So she does spawn, but it is definitely very rarely (and certainly not the estimated 2.5 hours the Wowhead comments tell you). What a pain.
Blizzard please remove Ellam from this achievement. She never spawns
Ellam only spawns when the Aylaag Camp is in that spot.
Spawned for me just fine the day after they moved this past week.
Welp, maybe I’m incorrect. I read that Ellam only spawned while the camp was in that particular location.
No, no, I mean that they did spawn once they had moved to the correct camp, I’m sorry if it came across as me correcting you!
The other aspect of finding Ellam is that this NPC has an event when enough players pet it. At that point, it hops off the rock and runs around the zone for several minutes. If you come to where you expect it but it’s doing that event, you won’t find the dog until the event ends and the dog returns.
Ah, I understand. I thought you were saying after it moved AWAY from that location
