Hi, I just become Elixir master and notice the proc chance for extra elixirs is less than 10% and so far only produced x2 out of a trial of making 150+ elixirs. I was potion master in normal TBC, and proc chance was a lot bigger and could go up to x4. I went to see 2007 posts on elixir mastery, and they also talk of a 20% proc chance of between x2-x4. Seeing the current drop rate is below 10% and only does x2, it would be a massive nerf if it stays like this.
afaik the elixir you’re making also influences the proc rate, like if it’s an old world flask etc. I’m unsure about the numbers.
It’s all subjective though, I asked someone to make me 50 mana pots who was pot spec and I got 80 back.
For me, as xmute though, I have not had a proc in over 8 days.
I’m an elixir master that makes about 500 elixirs daily. The proc rate is too low imo. Some days you proc like 20 off a 100 but most days i proc like 10 off 100 elixirs. Sometimes I make 20 flasks at a time and get nothing. Its really volatile but overall its low imo.
I have done transmute cd every day of TBC, I have never proc more than x2 ever, and I have only had like 3-4 total procs doing it every day.

So, sometimes when you make 100 you might only get 10 extra. Sometimes 30 extra. But overall, it should end up equalling 20%
100 is not a very big sample size. 500 is okayish… Maybe 1000-2000 should show good results, but I also don’t know the statistics behind it. I don’t think it’s messed up though.
It might be 15%. I’ve seen that figure thrown around, and that feels about right. As a potion master, my average is probably in the 10-20% range. I assume elixir master is the same proc rate.
btw, you can get up to a x5 proc, although I’ve only seen that a few times in well over a thousand potions. Most procs are x2. Higher procs are much rarer.
Yea. The proc rates seem sort of lame sometimes but I think they do end up being around 15% - 20%. I’ll make 20 and get 7 extra one day and then the next day do 40 and get 3 extra. Go figure. I only really care about the flasks though. I make 10 at a time and get 2 extra almost always if not more.
Why do people go Transmute mastery!? Explain that!

i noticed the proc rate is less than what it was at the beginning. Just did 100 mageblood and i only got 2 proc of x2. So i had 102 flask…
My average proc rate is about 20%, just about the same as it was back in the original TBC.
It’s probably an rng thing… depending on what seed is used on any particular day, you’ll get more or less.
Just need to keep xmuting and rolling the dice till you get lucky. I remember how shocked and happy I was to craft primal might x5.
Did they nerf the proc rate? I was getting about 20% proc rate on elixers and flasks until a week or two ago and now it’s more like 5%. I actually went 25 flasks and 50 elixirs without a single proc the other day.
I’m not one for unprovable conspiracies, but I have been getting zero procs now too.
