So I need to know how one unlocks the Elite set’s Helm/Shoulder and Chest. I thought it was 1.8k rating in any arenas
However I’ve brought this up with the customer support many times, and they keep saying I already own the set and then show me the Gladiator ranked set which I do own, but isn’t the Elite set.
These are obviously very different looking sets, but they have the same name. I’ve brought this to their attention multiple times, yet keep getting told I already own the set then shown the Gladiator ranked set. However this last chat with customer support I was able to get a live chat and the Game Master told me that he couldn’t even find the helm/shoulder/chest I was looking for, and would not be able to reward me with the missing appearances at this time. If i’m just dumb, and need a higher rank please let me know. I thought I should’ve got the Elite set with 1.8k like I did on my hunter.

That shows the two sets that I’m having a problem with. The closed helm one is the Gladiator ranked set and the open helm is the Elite set…It even has it in the title that it’s unlocked with Rival right?

I think I remember unlocking the whole set when I hit 2100, but I’m not sure about individual pieces. This was in the first week so i have no idea if things have changed.
Well it shows in that Wowhead link that each like…“rank” 1.4 1.6 1.8 rewards parts of the set. 2.1 unlocks the cloak to complete the set as my hunter doesn’t have the cloak because I didn’t like it enough to want to push that high (nor am i that great xD)
See I tried that as well, but if I could post images in here I could show you all what I’m talking about. However, the chest/helm/shoulders aren’t in my appearance tab either. as I know from my hunter thats where to look for these pieces. I simply do not posses them. Also I’m talking about when you click the little horsey and go into the sets tab so you can look at all of them you have/haven’t collected it shows all the pieces i have which is everything but the Helm/shoulders/cloak and chest for the Elite set.
Correct I’m 1822 with achievement and everything. They keep telling me that they see me having the achievement and the set that goes with the achievement however the set they keep showing me is the Normal Gladiator set, not the Elite with the open helm and nice shoulders.
Huh, that’s really strange… Sounds like the GMs maybe didn’t quite understand which set you’re referring to. I would say just keep contacting them, maybe with a picture of the sets tab like you describe. The helm, chest and shoulders should have been auto-awarded the moment you got Rival.
I have done this as well however they saw they can see the difference in the sets. But they keep insisting the Closed helm set is the reward for Rival Achievement. They keep telling me they can’t even find or see how to get or obtain the open helm one…like it just doesn’t exist anymore. This is about the 7th day of constant back and forth with images and letting them log onto my character and look for themselves. The last Gm i talked to 30minutes ish ago told me my only hope now was to put this on the forums…because they’re not going to reward me the appearances as of now…Also if you look at my character’s profile this is the armor they’re saying is the “Elite” armor…which its not. I can’t tell if you can see the gold tint or the grey tint, but its this armor they’re saying is the Rival reward.
I’d suggest if you can’t find a solution here try calling blizzard and see if it helps more. It’s a lot easier to understand people over the phone than through text sometimes.
When I hit 1800 for my cloth set on my alt awhile back I was immediately able to go over and transmog it to my warlock. Ik you said you did it already but make sure you are looking up the pieces in each individual transmog tab such as shoulders chest and so on and not going to the “full set” tab because that will not be unlocked yet.
Yes I did. And if I could link pictures in this I’d show you that. When I drop down the menu, select Elite, the Chest/helm/shoulder/cloak are missing. I’m not going to get the cloak as I don’t like it and don’t think i’m good enough for 2.1k on my warrior.
I have also looked it up in each tab piece as in head specifically etcetc I wish I could link my imgur, to show you guys this, but sadly it wont let me. If any of you know of a way to link it please tell me. And I’m going to be doing that tomorrow. I did a live chat today, and the guy basically told me the reward that they’re seeing is the “Elite” is the closed helm set, which isn’t the Elite, and that they can’t help me. I’m going to continue to call/live service etc until this gets resolved, hopefully soon.
Yea idk what to do man in sorry. I’d suggest trying to go to the bug forums and give them a call tomorrow if possible. Hopefully someone else can help you on here tho
