Elite PvP sets look worse than normal conquest (Mostly)

Now this doesn’t apply to ALL sets, and this is only opinion based, but is it just me or does most of the Elite recolors looks WORSE than the normal conquest vendor ones? Like for example, look at Evoker, Warrior, Rogue, Paladin for example. The normal conquest colors, look like what an Elite color should be, and then the Elite colors are just boring and bland.

priest set sick as usual, shoulda played the class with the best aesthetic smh

Had the same feeling. Almost looks like they just tossed a coin to decide which color will be the Elite.

Imo the most edgy color should always be the Elite.

The Priest set is another good example. Look at the Mythic version then look at the Elite set. They could of easily made the Elite set be something that stands out like PURE white, but nope, the Priest Elite PvP set looks like what a raid finder set would look like with a little sparkles added on

True.

I do like the war elite better than conquest reg tho.

Look at Monk and DK, their sets actually make sense. Their Elite set colors actually feel like an upgrade in visuals. Everyone else’s sets just look horrible, especially Paladins. I haven’t seen a single person who likes that green tint

The paladin conquest/elite sets are hideous. The friggin honour set looks better, lol. The Hallowfall themes in general just look really good on us.

Warrior elite set is bad af, it’s a golden vrykul electric set of awesomeness.

I agree on evoker though. The red one should’ve been elite - same as Druid too tbh

It’s not vrykul though it’s earthen mountain thane (heavy wc3 avatar inspiration).

By bad I mean awesome btw, and yeah the mountain thanes were based off Viking design who’s in game analogue is the vrykul. The big horned helmet etc.

Lotta cross over with dwarves.

None the less the warrior set is wicked. Definitely getting it.

Edit: the warrior set unironically looks fantastic on Draenei males.

Like actually fantastic.

Paladin set is underwhelming though. Although the T2 remake is bis.

I personally don’t really like the yellow color on my NE but the purple mythic one? Amazing.

Lowkey bums me out a lot of the more purple recolors are all mythic PvP sets. :<

yea they suck but even more incentive to get the ce or 2400 in pvp can wear the elite effects on the actual good looking ones.

At least you’re not a shaman with a water balloon hat

I think all of the priest set variants are honestly sick, the set itself is just good. However the mythic set is probably the best alongside the gladiator pvp set like you said. The red/white version (gladiator) stands out a lot, definitely felt like what the elite said should be. The purple set coming from mythic is fine though.

Not that it really matters, the elite set is just as easy to get as the gladiator set, i think most here will have the elite set before they are even halfway through finishing the gladiator set anyway. You can get the mythic/elite effects from M+ hero/2400 pvp/killing mythic endboss, so that doesn’t matter much either.
