Can I just ask why they would be eliminating Trios in Plunderstorm? Isn’t it no skin off their backs to just leave trios in the game? I have 2 friend and myself that had a lot of fun in this game mode in the past and would love to do so again. I would even add Quads!!! Please leave trios in plunderstorm

I didnt get to play last go around, but did they leave you in queues with solo players? Or did trios get matched up against other trios?
Each team size was only paired against teams of the same size
No solo’s in duo, no duos in trios, etc

If I had to guess it’s because teams of two are likely husband-wife or close friends. And if one person is carried the other is okay with it. But teams of three and above are very likely to get toxic because the guy who brought a useless person to the party doesn’t always tell the other superstar and it gets nasty, quick.
If teams of two are couples, then teams of three are throuples

I rushed the rewards ( had some fun but really wasn’t my jam enough to play without the carrot) but I heard once the bonus loot was nerfed the queues for groups thinned out.
Is this something confirmed? Also why did you link to yourself?

Probably not enough players to sustain 60 player matches in three different game modes so they got rid of the least popular.
My Wife and I play duo’s all the time. You cannot queue into it solo unless you 2-box and let your 2nd box just sit somewhere on the map. Just don’t forget to jump every now and then lol.
3-person groups showed up later in the Plunderstorm release. IIRC was in the final 3 weeks. It was to help others get their gold faster or something like that.
I typically play as part of a trio. We were really bummed out when we opened Plunderstorm and saw we couldn’t play as a group.
