Hey everyone, I’ve started a Worgen character and doing the Cataclysm Time Walking Campaign and I want to finish this and subsequent campaigns to unlock the follower dungeons for me and my wife to play together. But I’m feeling pretty gray on how I do this.
So, is the Cataclysm campaign done by just finding our way to the high level zones scattered around Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms? Our first campaign together was BfA and Blizzard pointed the way pretty shamelessly. All the other campaigns seem to have their own areas sectioned off and those seem easier to identify if we’re on the right track.
Also, is the mission board Chromie send us to upon choosing a timeline supposed to be the bread crumbs for each campaign or is that more generic than I’m assuming?
Thanks so much! I’m sure I could have figured it out eventually and got over the uncertainty but I’m too much of a planner and too old to wanna change in this regard lol. Thanks again to anyone who responded in case I forgot to like or reply to posts
Follower Dungeons are a feature of the expansion you are in.
If you have bought TWW and are at level 70, you can access the War Within Follower Dungeons. Better still, in TWW, you and your wife cen team up on Delves, which are much better duo-ing content, I feel.
If you are below level 70, you can talk to Chromie in Stormwind to be sent to Dragonflight timeline, where Follower Dungeons are available from level 10.
Cata is unusual. The other timelines direct you from level 10 to 70. The later ones direct you pretty closely.
Cata lets you roam anywhere you like theough the quests of Kalimdor and Eastern IKingdoms - just pick a zone, find q quest, and go!
Until you hit level 30.
When you reach Level 30, mobs stop scaling with you, so to get any more XP you will have to go back to Stormwind to the Hero’s Board, and choose one of the four higher zones available for Cata. Then youwill be pointed to the start of that zone’s questline.
I don’t recall her doing that for any expansion except Cata. If you are under 30, you can ignore it. If you are 30+, you should see 4 relevant options.
In regards to follower dungeons, it’s kind of a relief realizing that there’s really only a limited feature. I can’t remember what I read that brought me to that assumption. I think I found a bunch of empty drop down menus and figured it had to be unlocked
that kinda helps with the rest of the decision for the campaign.
