I started playing a Nightborne for the heritage armour and while I already knew they have weird features like an unfinished product, I didn’t realised they are the same size as a Night Elf??? Like whyy??? Their NPCs are SO TALL! I thought they are the ones who changed the least physique-wise because they had the Nightwell feeding them all this time. If anything they should be a head taller than a Night Elf. Is there a particular reason why they shrank or is it just another Blizzard “design” to match toe-to-toe with the Night Elves that do not make sense?
This also makes me wonder why Blood Elves remain so small even after they gained power and got their Sunwell back? The ones in the Sunwell raid grow pretty big after feeding off magic.
Doesn’t Aethas Sunreaver (Blood Elf) have a Nightborne girlfriend who found him naked and rescued him? By the playable model size, she would have been three times his size. O.O How does that work out in bed for them? If you run into Suramar as a Blood Elf beside a Nightborne NPC, you can pretty stuff the whole Blood Elf into the Nightborne completely without a trace of him left. lol
Playing in Suramar at the end, I noticed all the elf leaders were the same size. The Blood Elves weren’t smaller like the player models. Tyrande actually seemed a little smaller than the others. The Blood Elves’ ears also don’t grow longer when they grow taller. lol It’s nice, they look like they all actually belonged to one race, but that’s not the case when playing the regular models.
The elf sizes are starting to throw me off a little. Maybe Blizz should make their heights a customisable thing between all the elf races?
