Quick question…
What is Elemental Shamans equivalent to Windfury, Healing Tide Totem, Mana Tide Totem, Spirit Link Totem, etc? Feels like Elemental does not have any “unique” totems like the other specs. I assume it is suppose to be the Fire Element pet? They should give us Liquid Magma Totem or the old Searing Totem back as default.
The only unique totem that Enhance gets is WF, and it seems like the Ele counterpart is Fire Elemental.
Resto is the only spec that gets a handful of extra totems.
I always felt Elemental was a totem spec. I don’t think the Fire and Earth Elementals are tied to totems any longer. I loved at least having Totem Mastery so I felt like I was using totems. But in all of their infinite wisdom they decided to take it away. Kind of sucks the only one I might use each fight is locked behind WM. I really feel like something needs to be added back in.
The only Fire totem that Enhance gets is the PvP talent one… I really wish there was one baseline so that I could surround myself with them like I can in Vanilla/Classic.
Earthquake could probably be Earthquake Totem. It probably would have been a totem initially except there wasn’t range totems at the time and there was a cast time.
Anyhoo, I’m always down for more totems. More clever ways to incorporate totems (that aren’t tied to pvp) would be awesome!
Surprised we didn’t get totem of wrath back as a regular ability. It still exists as a pvp talent at least.
I don’t know about you guys. But I want my totems back!!! I get it, we get totems which are basically abilities. But it was dope to have 4 different type of element totems that do an array of stuff. I felt kinda like a Chanter (from Aion) class and a great support. Healing Wave Totem is a good first step but we need more
