The storm is here. Shows on map. It’s all fiery, but literally no invasion. No monsters. Nothing.

yeah i was confused too, it was like this at 2pm as well. Went to an invasion point and nothing was there. I was under the impression it was the same as the pre patch invasions? but the tooltip says mobs are empowered. Idk.

Every 6 hours, two Dragon Isles zones will receive a Primalist force invasion in certain areas. The locations are marked with a red X on your Dragon Isles map. Invasions last for 2 hours, and the 6-hour timer starts once the current invasion ends, giving them an effective 8-hour rotation.
There are no set objectives on Primal Storms - The objective here is to grind NPCs to collect currency and purchase gear.

It’s pretty underwhelming. I actually liked the pre-expansion primal event. I was hoping t would be more like that.

Looks like if the Siege on Dragonbane Keep is completed then there are only 3 mobs you can kill for drops. For the fire one at least.

What are the ilvl of vendor items?
base is 359 and you can upgrade the gear to 385. There is a quest to start you out and explain the currency.

359 blues easiest to get, 385s harder to get (boss kill tokens only).
and they have set bonuses.
They are on 8 hour rotations and one is completely locked out by other event that happens every 2 hours and causes nothing to spawn. Multi dollar company.

there are no spawns in these invasions the mobs in the area are empowered and drop the currency when killed.
And the Keep event causes the mobs to all be dead and not spawn

You just kill the mobs. They have an icon on them. That is all.

the mobs outside of the keep have the buff and drop the currency. just as long as you are in the area of the storm you get currency drops.

Sad. Was hoping they were going to be more like the invasions in Legion. Finish 4 objectives with a little final scenario at the end. Expecting too much I guess

Nothing is working right. Went to a feast, got zero orders. Went to a grand hunt and nothing is showing up.
Yeah, not a huge fan. Can’t all be wins, though.
It is a pretty terrible event. The gear you can purchase (at least the first layer) is lower than most ilevels atm due to WQ’s, rares and maybe heroic dungeons. The second set is decent but will be about 16 weeks of constant grind to get them all. IN addition, it appears they made the currency soul bound instead of account bound. So yeah…useless.
